The Wordsmith's Corner was created for board members to discuss the latest literary works, and to display their own writing skill.
By posting, you are acknowledging the following rules and regulations, of which are to be adhered to while utilizing this board:
Any posts determined by the admins or mods to have elements from other sources, or contain too much gore, sexual content, violence, offensive material, or the depiction of genitalia will be removed, with or without prior warning to the poster. Repeated violations of these rules may result in a ban from The Wordsmith's Corner, or The BCC Otakus forum altogether.

- Any kind of writing style is okay! Poetry, stories, blog entries, prose, screenplays, music lyrics...whatever your brain can create, you can put here.
- Don't copy someone else's work. You may DISCUSS someone else's work, but don't claim it. That's plagiarism. >_>
- Do NOT post works with elements from other stories! If you wish to write a fan fiction, use the Fan Art And Fiction board.
- Asking for writing advice is okay. We all get that writer's block from time to time.
- Mature content IS PERMITTED. However, it is best that you use proper judgment in what you post; remember, this is a public forum, and anyone at any time is able to see your work. Keep it PG-13 or R, and be tasteful.
- If you do wish to post mature content, YOUR THREAD MUST BE TITLED OR LABELED APPROPRIATELY.
- Be respectful of other people's creative streams. If you wish to state your opinions, do so, but be tactful. Comments like "ur story sux" are rude, unhelpful, and make you look like a complete moron. Enough of them will get you banned. In addition, if you choose to post, understand that the other members on the board have the right to post their thoughts on your writing. Being overly sensitive about some responses doesn't help you any.
- When in doubt, ask a mod.
